In a study recently published in the journal Nature, a team of marine scientists announced the discovery of a mountain range of sugar beneath the ocean. The sugar, which is estimated to be twice the size of Hawaii, was discovered while the scientists were studying seafloor maps obtained from radar technology. The sugar is located in an area known as the South Pacific Subtropical Gyre and has yet to be studied further. While it is not yet clear what this discovery could mean for the environment or humanity, it may provide The sugar industry is facing a lot of pressure to reduce the amount of sugar it uses in its products. With so much sugar being dumped into the ocean, it’s no wonder that the industry is looking for ways to cut back. One possible solution is to use artificial sweeteners.              image: credit to Askar Abaye The evolutionary predilection of humans is for sweetness. Our ancestors used  sweet foods like fruit and honey as a major source  But in the current world, sweetened foods are widely accessible, incredibly affordable, and heavily advertised. We are consuming too much sugar in our foods and beverages, especially added sugar as opposed to naturally occurring sugar. The health effects of consuming too much added sugar are negative. It has been connected to dental decay, type 2 diabetes, and obesity. Manufacturers have been sweetening food with non-nutritive sweeteners as a result of these health issues. These sweeteners include both artificial sweeteners like aspartame and those derived from natural sources like stevia, and they all have a kilojoule content of zero to very little. According to our study, which was just published, packaged foods and beverages now include far more added sugar and non-nutri...

Memory in Older Adults is Improved by Electric Brain Stimulation

In order to keep us fully functional for longer and prevent dementia and disorders like Alzheimer's, scientists are attempting to address the fact that our memory tends to deteriorate with age due to a rapidly aging global population. According to a recent study, modest, non-invasive electrical stimulation delivered through an electrode-equipped cap may be sufficient to counteract the negative effects of aging and maintain the health and strength of our memory circuits. Technically, it's known as transcranial alternating current stimulation, or tACS, and it is considered to function by synchronizing our brain waves. In tests were out by researchers at According to research from Boston University, just 20 minutes of stimulation per day was sufficient to cause 2 different types of memory function to noticeably increase over the course of at least a month. This could lead to new treatments for memory issues as well as ways to keep our minds active as we age with further study. The...

video link : https://youtu.be/qwlGS3hVZ3w Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are still in their early developmental stages, and as such, there is a lot of speculation and misinformation floating around about them. It can be difficult to separate fact from fiction, which is why it is important to share my thoughts on recent news related to cryptocurrencies or blockchains. My opinion on this new technology could help others to better understand it and make informed decisions about whether or not to invest in cryptocurrencies or blockchain-based startups. image: credit to Ola The OgaBet mobile app. One of the most popular mobile platforms in Nigeria and other African nations is OgaBet. One of the few sportsbooks still running actual betting shops is this one. This company lacks an Android app despite its many accomplishments. Instead, it offers a mobile in-browser experience with a straightforward approach. In light of this, you shouldn't even consider installing the APK you downloaded from Google Play on your Android device. Instead, consider which browser will render OgaBet mobile in the most accurate manner. This application I tried is a portable delivery of a typical site, so we are discussing a web application. This application works impeccably without downloading, so you don't have to look through iTunes, the Play Store, or other autonomous application stores later, and you don't require APK. To do this, just go to the wagering supplier's site with your versatile, iPhone or tablet (it doesn...
